A-ICE Takeoff in 2021 Aviation Events at the Dubai Airport Show

The Dubai Airport Show will go ahead next week (24-26 May 2021), becoming the first physical aviation event to be held since the outbreak of Covid-19. The three-day event marks a milestone for the industry and A-ICE is pleased to be restarting our presence in aviation events there, together with Air Tech Italy.

The show remains one of the most important in the Asian airport sector, historically attracting more than 7000 attendees from 89 countries visiting over 350 exhibitors at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year promises to provide a platform to support the renewed optimism for recovery across the industry since the start of the year, highlighting innovation and renewing vital connections.

A-ICE’s Claudio Ferrari is attending the show in conjunction with and representing Air Tech Italy for the first time. He will participate in an important program of discussions as aviation leaders come together to promote excellence in all areas of the airport environment to help safeguard the future of the industry.

Air Tech Italy – bringing together innovation and knowledge

Founded in July 2020 under the patronage of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, Air Tech Italy (ATI) aims to bring together the innovations and knowledge of the most successful aviation companies in the country to create the ‘airport of the future’.

Through a shared network of 30 current members, ATI delivers a wide range of integrated solutions to global civil aviation organisations and airports of all sizes. It also offers members the opportunity to share experience, research and knowledge in a collaborative environment where the complexities of today’s challenges can be addressed – and met.

About the 2021 Dubai Airport Show

The Dubai Airport show historically provides a wide range of opportunities for aviation professionals and innovative technology leaders to re-connect, share concerns and knowledge and forge new partnerships. This year there will also be a shared sense of optimism as new opportunities arise from the disruption of the last 12 months.

While there are inevitable Covid restrictions in place this year, with three ways to attend the event, there’s hope for record attendance and participation. Passes are available for in-person attendance, online, virtual access and a new Hybrid+ experience, offering attendees the best of both.

The focus of the show this year will surround innovation and discussion about the global aviation industry recovery following an unprecedented year. 2020 redefined the industry and now is the time to look for new opportunities to address safety, security and operations on the runway to recovery.

Over three, co-located events, the Dubai Airport Show will bring together more than 200 leading airport solutions suppliers and over 100 global airport leaders this year. Join us as we work together to help renew passenger confidence for a new era of post-pandemic travel.

A-ICE leading airport systems innovator representing ATI

As a leading aviation innovator, we are excited to highlight the value of fully integrated systems for the airport of the future. We understand that solutions are needed to boost operational efficiency and support teams of all sizes with compliance, security and management functionality. We also know that a new approach is vital and look forward to meeting our peers, leaders and clients – both in-person and virtually – to discuss the way forward.

If you’d like to talk to us about airport security, IT solutions, systems integration, passenger experience or how you’re planning your approach to recovery, get in touch now to schedule a chat with Claudio.
